- Anjuman Faizul Islam Rawalpindi has the signal honour of initiating its humanitarian service in
1943 with provision of shelter and necessities of life to thirty destitute children retrieved from
the riot and famine stricken Bengal at the behest of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah and also of
greeting him, later on his gracious visit to its first welfare centre
- It has earned a unique reputation due to selfless and tireless efforts of its pioneers, as one
of the most well organized and trustworthy benevolent bodies, committed to the cause of national
reconstruction.
- It is a democratically constituted voluntary organization which is being administered by elected
executive committee and office bearers and is neither owned nor dominated or monopolized by any
social figure, family or group.
- It depends mainly on the divine favour, through generous cooperation of philanthropists for
organizing its benevolent activities and does not receive any regular grant from any quarter nor
does it approach or rely on any national or international agency for this purpose.
- It is a reform oriented welfare organization of moderate and broadminded social workers from
different walks of life, which has been playing a purposeful role for social reform and
development without indulging in political strifes, sectarianism, regionalism and extremism.

educational facilities to thousand of orphans and destitute children from all regions of Pakistan
and rehabilitating them as useful citizens, patriotic Pakistanis, practicing muslims and balanced

- Faizul Islam Technical Training Institute is one of the premier training institutes established under

organization of balanced and broad-minded social workers from various fields of life, which is engaged
in promoting welfare and educational activities and religious values without getting involved in
